Derby

Not sure about you but something on my "bucket list" is going to the Kentucky Derby. It all started 6 years ago while I was in Las Vegas and we watched the races. It was amazing and I was hooked. Every year I enjoy it so much . My husband promised me he would take me . I love the style and the big hats. I put money on Choc. candy this year . Maybe next year we can do a party and make mint jubilees?

How do you stop pesky in-laws from coming over?

We got married in Sept 08 and we bought a house in late Nov 08 and we are having a baby Oct 09 so we have had a busy year. I am an issue with my inlaws. They are coming over EVERY weekend with out calling. Last weekend it was 3x and the straw that broke the camels back was they don't knock or ring the door bell they just walk in. It has been bothering me for months and it always ends with me and DH fighting. I am not sure what to do but this has to end before the baby is born. I have asked my husband to ask them but he refuse. Last night I have been thinking about it all week and finally asked him nicely for his support that I was going to speak to them. He blew up and said they will hate me and never stop by . The thing is I could ask my fam and they would be okay with that. I am a private person and I am starting to resent them which is not good. I pull away and don't want to see them or talk to them.. HELP
Any one have this issue ? Any advice?

April showers - Spring in New England

I love spring clothes and I love the warm sunshine - It makes my day .. It is a hard time of year because it not warm enough for sandals but seems late to wear boots. There is no spring in New England , Every year people pull out there sweaters in May and then utter " When will summer be here?" and "Spring"? What Spring? Summer arrives full force sometime in June over night.. It rains alot and can be cold one day and warm the other. I am never sure when to make the switch from the seasons. I am enjoying the flowers blooming and the green grass. The season of graduations , wedding and baby showers, cookouts are upon us . I love getting all dressed up and having yummy food .

Little bo peep ?

This weekend we decided on this for the baby room. We just love it. It still early but we like it because it can be reused if we have a second child. We are going to find out the sex of the baby but this room can go with either boy or girl . We got new furniture for our room this weekend and will move out to start working on the nursery. I am so excited and can not wait to see it all come together. I have been researching gliders vs. rocking chairs. , strollers (I really want a Bugaboo Stroller) , I also want a juicy couture diaper bag in brown. My wish list I guess I should start saving...

I am so thrilled about this new book !! I can not wait to get it. I am Tori biggest fan. Growing up watching 90210 I did not LOVE her but after watching her new show " Tori and Dean INN love " she was super funny. Also I really liked her new book and after reading it made me really like her more. I really looking forward to reading this . She is a silly girl
