Baby Names

Since sharing our excitement with the world that we are expecting in Oct. we have come across the same questions : Will you find out the sex of the baby? And have you thought of any names yet and what are they? I made the mistake of sharing some of ideas and became very hurt and defensive. Most people want to tell you what they like and dislike. They want to share they stories of who it reminds them of and names they really like. That alone has turned me off to a couple names. Plus the fact is say some tells you how weird a name is and then you go ahead with it in the back of your mind you know how the person really feels. I feel that is a decision that the parents make together with out any one else influence. Not our parents, siblings, friends or co-workers. Not sure why people can not simply say " wow what ever you name you decided sounds amazing"

Well my husband and I have decided to keep it a secret until the baby is born so when people ask and press I simply replay " it will be a surprise " .

Bad Girls

The Bad girls club is one of my fav shows I hate to admit but I do not miss an episode. Last night was the Reunion show that Prez Hilton hosted and I have to say he is pretty funny and made the show. Anyways .. after watching the season in horror I need to comment on my thoughts. There was 7 girls in the house : the fab five vs. the Amber's. I really liked the Amber's especially cookie . They were cute girls while the others seemed trashy, fat and mean . The one girl called her self " Boston" and I was embarrassed that she represented the city for me and come to find out she is from North of Boston. Wow!! Plus all the girls went to Mexico and the jumped Amber and then bragged about it. I guess I like it because there is so much drama. I try not to create or get involved in real life drama because I know the effects and it can draw you in quickly so that is why I save it and enjoy watching it on T.V. Hopefully Oxygen will come out with a season 4 !!!

Bunny Cupcakes

These look soo yummy .. I am going to make them for Easter.

Here is the recipe :

1 box Betty Crocker® SuperMoist® yellow or white cake mix
Water, vegetable oil and eggs called for on cake mix box
Pink food color
2 containers Betty Crocker® Whipped fluffy white frosting
5 large marshmallows
Pink sugar
Candy decorations and sprinkles, as desired

1.Heat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pans). Make and cool cake as directed on box for 24 cupcakes.
2.Stir a few drops pink food color into 1 container of frosting. Frost cupcakes with pink frosting.
3.Spoon 1 heaping teaspoonful white frosting on center of each cupcake. To make ears, cut each large marshmallow crosswise into 5 pieces with kitchen scissors. Using scissors, cut through center of each marshmallow piece to within 1/4 inch of edge. Separate to look like bunny ears; press 1 side of cut edges into pink sugar, flattening slightly. Arrange on each of the white frosting mounds as shown. Use candy decorations and sprinkles to make eyes, nose and whiskers as shown. Store loosely covered.

Trader Joes

I LOVE trader Joe's but since I have trying to save M$oney I have not been there in a while but I was able to go this week and I got the best things. I got some daffodils that have bloomed and make my house feel like spring , some choc covered almonds( my fav), almonds, and much more. I wish there was one closer and I would do all my shopping there. The people there are so nice . Have any one been there ? Any thoughts? Since I have been pregnant all I can think about is food and what I can eat. It gives me something to look forward to. So happy it is the weekend...

Crazy week .. T.G.I.F It is Friday the 13Th and there was a full moon Wed. I noticed lately people left the house with out there manners. I have seen so many people yak away on there cell phones and not even noticing what is going on around them. This week two different times people slammed the door on me while going in to work .

The quote is about not letting others effect you and I am working on that. I am the only person who can make "me" happy. Also looking at what I have instead of what I don't have is important too. Being grateful. ..

Baby

We are having a baby !!! I am due Oct 11th and wanted to share the good news. Mr T and I are super happy. It still is early and I have not told anyone at work just fam and good friends. The greatest thing is my BF and I got married 2 weeks apart and we were in each other weddings and now we are having babies 4 months apart. It is wonderful to have her to talk to her about everything. I am not sure what it is ... most people seem to think it is a boy ( including DR) but I think it is a girl .

Batchelor

Did any one happen to watch this final last night? I have been following it because Gossip Girl has not been on for the past month :( . I really like Jason and I read a lot of other people did too because he was a single dad and he did get dumped . I am not a big fan of him now. I love how he dumped poor Melissa because he wanted Molly . Now if I was Molly I would not run right back into his arms because I would not be able to trust him. I do forget some times that people do sign up for this and know what they are getting themselves into but still it seem cruel. I do hope that next season they have a show for Melissa.

My husband gets super embarrassed when he watches it for a second and of course it was when Jason was crying last night. Did any one else watch this? Please I would love to know what you though..
